Why We Like It
The CuloClean is a great example of ultralight gear doing more with less. Instead of carrying a separate bottle or bulky washing system, you can use a water bottle you already have and add a small nozzle that weighs almost nothing.
The Tradeoff
Compatibility depends on the bottle you’re using, so it’s worth testing the fit before taking it on a trip. It also requires you to dedicate some of your carried water to washing, which can matter on trips where water availability is limited.
Rikkar Take
One of the easiest ways to add a bidet to an ultralight kit without adding much weight or complexity. If you’re already carrying a compatible water bottle, the CuloClean turns it into a useful hygiene tool for only a few grams.
