Key Features
- Five sizes for carrying small quantities
- Durable HDPE construction
- Leakproof screw caps
- Narrow-mouth design helps control pouring
- Translucent construction makes contents easy to identify
- Compact enough for lightweight backpacking kits
- Suitable for a wide range of liquids and small supplies
Sizing / Configuration
Choose the smallest size that comfortably holds what you need. The 1/2 oz and 1 oz bottles work well for small quantities such as concentrated toiletries or treatments, while the 2 oz, 4 oz, and 6 oz sizes provide more room for liquids you use in greater quantities.
Why We Like It
Small containers are an easy place to eliminate unnecessary pack weight. Instead of carrying a full-size bottle of something you only need a few ounces of, these let you portion out what you’ll actually use while still giving you a durable container that can be reused from trip to trip.
The Tradeoff
These are straightforward storage bottles rather than specialized backpacking dispensers, so they’re not the absolute lightest containers available. The tradeoff is a more durable, reusable bottle with a secure screw cap and a range of useful sizes.
Rikkar Take
A practical solution for the small liquids that are part of almost every backpacking kit. Pick the smallest bottle that fits the job, fill it with what you actually need for the trip, and leave the full-size container at home.
