Sizing / Configuration
4.621 mL / 0.14 oz — 1/2 in diameter — 1.36 g each:
The smallest option for when space and weight are the priority. A good choice for carrying very small quantities. Fits most sewing needles, and is great for spices like salt/pepper.
5.545 mL / 0.16 oz — 3/4 in diameter — 1.81 g each:
A slightly larger option that provides additional capacity while remaining extremely compact. Great for a few ibprofen or a few water tablets
9.242 mL / 0.30 oz — 3/4 in diameter — 2.27 g each:
The largest option, offering nearly twice the capacity of the smallest vial while maintaining the same 3/4-inch diameter. Great for Creams, Ear Plugs or other small essentials.
What’s Included
Four Snap-Top Microvials of the selected size.
All four vials will be the same size selected when ordering.
Why We Like It
Sometimes you only need a tiny amount of something, and carrying a full-size container makes no sense. These microvials provide a simple way to portion small quantities while keeping your kit organized and compact.
They’re especially useful for the little things that otherwise end up in improvised bags, wrappers, or oversized containers.
The Tradeoff
These are intentionally tiny containers. They’re excellent for small quantities but aren’t appropriate when you need substantial capacity or frequent access to the contents. The snap-top closure is also simpler than a threaded, gasketed container, so they’re best suited to applications where that level of sealing isn’t required.
Rikkar Take
A handy four-pack of tiny containers for the odds and ends of an ultralight kit. Choose the 4.621 mL size when minimizing bulk is the priority, the 5.545 mL size for a little more capacity, or the 9.242 mL size when you want the most room while keeping the container compact.
