Why We Like It
The 650ml size is a useful step up from the smallest solo pots without adding much weight. At 2.8 ounces with the lid, it gives you enough room for a larger boil while still fitting comfortably into an ultralight canister-stove setup.
The Tradeoff
If you only boil small amounts of water for coffee or compact meals, the 550ml version saves a little weight and takes up less space. The 650ml also isn’t intended for elaborate cooking or larger portions—the advantage is simply having a little more room when you need it.
Rikkar Take
A great middle-ground solo pot for hikers who want more capacity than a minimalist 550ml setup without jumping to a much larger cook pot. The 650ml size, 2.8-ounce pot-and-lid weight, and ability to nest a 110g fuel canister make it particularly easy to build into a compact canister cooking system.
