Why We Like It
The NTK05 takes the idea of an emergency utility tool about as far toward ultralight as you can reasonably go. At less than one-fifth of an ounce, it’s easy to keep with you even when you’re aggressively minimizing your pack or everyday carry.
The Tradeoff
Its tiny size is both the advantage and the limitation. The NTK05 is intended for small utility tasks rather than replacing a full-size knife, and the compact handle provides less leverage and control than a conventional utility knife.
