Why We Like it

When every gram matters, it’s hard to beat the simplicity. The Tradeoff

There’s a noticeable chlorine taste, and tablets aren’t instant—you need to allow the full treatment time before drinking. They also don’t remove sediment, chemicals, or improve the appearance of dirty water. For consistently silty or cloudy sources, pre-filtering is a good idea.
